Maria is from Pamplona in Spain, and she's having English classes at a summer school in London for three weeks. She's nervous at first: she misses her friends and family and she's afraid of speaking English. But soon she has a new friend, Emilia, a Polish girl. They do everything together. Maria's English gets better, and she starts to like being in England. And then she meets Jack. He's tall with blue eyes, very handsome, and very English... But does he like Maria?
